Woot! I finally got this Free WP shopping cart and my friends blog to work. After signing into pay pal sandbox and testing it soon I will be making the site live where my friend will sell Handicapping Sports picks. Anyways basically I just had to turn Auto respond on with my paypal account and send it back to the transaction page now the Download button shows up. I am going to tweak it a little and try and make the IPN work so the download is instant. Will keep you posted.
So I have been trying to implement this Free WP shopping cart into my friends Premium Handicapping Blog. All I can say is, this stuff is not that well documented, I do not consider myself a novice at this stuff at all. I am a pretty knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff but eh… man this thing is going on 2 days of hacking away at the stuff. I am the computer “go-to guy” in the family but some of this is new turf to me so I am plugging away at it. I am too stubborn and cheap to pay someone else to do it. So I will figure it out if it takes me a week.
Anyways, I will keep you updated. The WP shopping cart comes out of New Zealand you can get it here! There are forums on his site and on Pay-pal. They are pretty helpful, I actually got the free shopping cart to work in Pay-Pal Sandbox and its billing but I having problems figuring out how to trigger a download to activate on the payment acceptance screen. I would appreciate any advice from you all if someone is familiar implementing this to a word-press blog with the free shopping cart. Anyways back at it for a few hours before I crash and Try again I will keep you posted on my progress.
