You need the SDK for August 2007!

Here is an install guide for it

Basically you will go to Tools
2. options then click
3. Projects and Solutions
4. VC++ Directories
5. Top right corner of window is “Show directories for”
6. Here you will need to drop down to include files and put the path of the Include directory of the SDK Aug 2007
7. Do this for the Library files as well Include the Library files of the SDK Aug 2007.

Just search for any files it says you are missing and point to the library or include directory and it should work fine for you. Might say like darkGDK.h is missing just search for it on your computer and point to that location as a library or include in the VC++ options, Hope this helps. Peace out!!

Michael Dehen (23), Nathan Follmer (21), and Eric Totten (27) are pursuing their degrees through DeVry University’s online program. Within a few weeks of posting to their online classes, their passions for developing games cemented a collegiate bond and created the foundation for an entrepreneurial venture. They formed Faramix Enterprises in mid-2007 and established their official studio headquarters in Los Angeles, where Dehen lives. With Follmer residing in Pennsylvania and Totten in New Jersey, the three students continue to study at DeVry while having just brought their first game title, CellZenith, to the commercial market with a September 30 launch (www.cellzenith.com)

This is great news for our start up in the gaming industry! Our working title has come along way in just 14 or so weeks, right now, we still have all our concept art and screen shots under wraps… but for a sneak peek at the WarOfDecadence boss mob, check out WarOfDecadence.com. So after watching the presidential candidates duke it out for power in an awe inspiring conflict that is clearly divided across the party lines and the people are split down the middle… Will the US (Politics) ever change its ways of corruption and BIG Business (lobbying) or will the 7 sins of the Bible be the down fall of the great USA like it was in so many earlier civilizations in our history?

The great Roman empire… Last time I checked the great roman empire only lasted 250 years tops, You do the math 1776 - 2008, We are approaching 250 years fairly quickly. I am not a prophet of doom or nay Sayer but some items clearly need to be addressed in our near future if America clearly wants to continue its global influence as it has for the last 64 years(WWII ends 1944), Now is our time to act, not by electing our same party lines who use and abuse the system, but by looking to alternative powers.

That is one of our greatest strengths in a Democracy, We The People… Get to decide its faith! Not all the BS from the news channels and garbage we are fed from paid advertisements but what we feel right from our hearts. As is stands today we need a true reform in American politics to a government by the people for the people… Not these earmarks and Bailouts. We the people need to take a stand on this issue and put in check the over spending and wasteful programs the Government has come to love today. I think Mr. Teddy Roosevelt explained it well:

Is Chrome too Cuil for IE8…

So I have been trying out the new Google browser Chrome, At first glance its pretty nifty and bug free. You have to dig any browser that allows you to enter Incognito mode: A.K.A. porn mode as the boys at DeVryU call it, LOL. Anyways this should give Microsoft a good dose of wake up call, since they are no longer dictating to the larger PC manufacturers like Dell and Gateway what can work with their OS’s.

Anyways with Vista the less than desirable gaming platform this new browser competition should give the boys over at Microsoft a challenge, Let see if they can arise to the occasion! Speaking of challenges, I have found a new search engine designed by a rogue group of defecting Google engineers. At a first glance this stuff looks pretty interesting. Anyways check it out over here @ cuil.com, I guess it stands for COOL.

The ViRus that almost stumped M3!

Ok, Here is a good one, been a while since I got a new virus, I deleted the .SCR file myself and a few other files like A.EXE but this one eluded the Gnar and then there it was low and behold… I stumbled across this software call MBAM, Yeah I know what you Emerald fans boys are thinking, He coined this phrase way b4 these guys but man it just that “BAM”, and my desk top was almost as good as new!! Now-a-days I typically just re-install when some one gets past my defense just for the simple fact that you never know whats still lingering around inside even after you quarantine and remove a virus, but tonight for some reason I just had to find out how to eradicate this sucker! I suppose just for confidence if nothing else to make sure I haven’t lost my touch or who know maybe just out of boredom. Anyways here are my HIJACKTHIS log and MBAM log:

But eventually I stumbled though this and got the wallpaper and fake virus warnings removed, I was almost ready for a re-install of Windows XP anyways. I suppose now is as a good of a time as any.

Alison Carroll is cast as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider: Underworld. The screen shots for this game look pretty amazing, Here is a video I found on Allison in her new roll as Lara Croft, she is such a sweetie, I just love that British accent. The game is set to release in November of 08′. I am sure this game will appeal to yet another generation of young lads & ladies all around the world. Look for this game to continue in a traditional fashion with this series, and make an already strong franchise even stronger.

This game should be interesting to say the least, the re-playability on this game should be intense hopefully Maxis games does this up right and EA didn’t force them to release a unfinished game full of bugs. (Only time will tell) For more on Spore check out this WIKi write up on it. Anyways when I first seen the video for the early stages of this game it looked like a winning concept for a game, We can only hope this game can take us from reality and immerse us in hours of fun.
